Laurel's Best Car Wash

Driving through Laurel with a salt-caked car is a civic embarrassment. Route 1 and the 295 interchange grind that winter grime into your paint faster than you can explain it.

So we scouted the wash bays, from sketchy lots where potholes threaten your alignment to detailers who make your interior look better than the showroom floor, and we paid for the upgrades ourselves to see what sticks. You need a plan before you pull out your wallet.

Start here.

Columbia Junction Car Wash

Highlights
Quick side-spray undercarriage only
Vacuum machine kept payment
Not recommended for salt removal
Poor value for services
Avoid for car care needs

Do not go here. The undercarriage spray is quick and only hits the sides. It will not remove road salt. The vacuum requires payment even after you pay for a wash. You will leave with a dirty car and an empty wallet. This is poor value. Avoid it for any car care need.
